We improved the Font Preview Tool so creators can review both the visual design and technical setup of a TTF or OTF font before installing, sharing, or selling it.
Advanced Font Insights now uses clearer, data-driven graphics for vertical metrics, font bounds, and OpenType OS/2 values. Where available, the diagrams use glyph outlines and measurements read from the uploaded font, with plain-language explanations for names, spacing, bounds, file details, and Unicode coverage.
The specimen workflow is more direct too. You can switch between four layouts, click highlighted text in the preview to edit it, adjust specimen settings inside the preview card, and download the finished PNG pages as a specimen pack. Font analysis and previewing continue to happen locally in your browser.
